During the weekend, I visited the Craft & Quilt Fair with my friends. The last time i went was a few years back.
Had a good browse at the various stalls mostly selling quilting supplies, fabrics, sewing machines, some paper goods, scrapbook essentials and the list goes on. The Quilt Exhibition was marvellous too! Plenty of creativity with needlework!
As for my personal interest, i was more keen on rubberstamps and papergoods. Maybe someday i'll try my hands on quilting and more serious sewing!
These are some of the things i've bought from the fair. Adding these miniature rubberstamps to my ever-growing rubberstamps collection. I think the castle stamp is simply too cute to resist!

Six Hours One Friday
Good Friday
A time to ponder upon the Greatest act of Love. A King that would die for an unworthy me. I am eternally grateful for this Gift of Grace.
"But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all."
- Isaiah 53:5-6
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
- Romans 5:6-11
He chose to walk the road out of His love for you, and me, down the Via Dolorosa all the way to Calvary.

printmaking part 1
i am attempting to make my own prints after i saw Geninne's hand carved stamps tutorial on her art blog.
these are what i have carved on the rubbers today. It wasn't as easy as how Geninne demostrated in her stamp carving video.
i carved a bird and a rabbit with an initial L. They don't look perfect but i am quite happy with the result.

bike art

wish i own a bike which i would ride to eveywhere whenever i like. i would name it Hana (flower in Japanese), attached a straw basket to the front with a bouquet of flowers, cycling on blissfully preferrably at an open space field.
how i wish. i miss cycling which i have not enjoyed for a while now.
oh well, dream can come true. perhaps i should start setting aside money for my bicycle fund. One day my dream will be fulfilled.
hmm, i would rather go cycling on the weekend than stuck at hospital. sigh.
