It's that beautiful time of the year again! I saw purple everywhere. It's beautiful Jacaranda blooming season!

When the sun was up, i thought it'll be good to go outside. And guess what, i've discovered another interesting spot in Perth! A line of lovely shops selling gifts and homeware, restaurants and quaint cafés at Scarborough Beach Road, Mt Hawthorn.

I also bought a few Posca markers from Jacksons Art Supplies today. I like their vivid bold colours! Uni has a great range of ink pens which i really like, especially their uni-ball signo range.

Yesterday a dear friend came to visit/work daytrip and i took her to a lovely quaint café Mooba in Subiaco. (i seached Urbanspoon and found Mooba top of the list.)

I had a soft boiled egg with savoury vegemite soldiers (grainy toast full of goodness!) while she had a freshly baked pear & choc cupcake (i think).

After brekkie, we strolled along Rokeby Road in Subiaco. I took her to one of my favourite shops, Mr. Sparrow! It is packed with Goodness! A happy place to be inspired! I love the window display too! Always attractive! It stocks gorgeous homewares, stationery, cards, baby goodies, gardening goodies & my favourite MT tapes too! Now featuring lots of Christmas gifts ideas! =)

Address: Shop 3, 223 Bagot Rd Subiaco, Australia, 6008 Tel: 08 9381 6362

We also visited the funky RG Madden Design shop too! It has branches in the eastern states too! The philosophy of RG Madden is to provide good design at a reasonable price. They stock brilliant creative designs from all over the world, mainly from Sweden! We all adore Swedish design, don't we! IKEA, kikki.k, etc Scandinavian designs continue to wow us with their simplicity yet intriguing designs.

And lastly my bro finished his final exams today, so thought of taking him out for dinner. And it's suburb late-night shopping Thursday, we thought we could visit IKEA since we haven't been there for a while and mentioning Swedish meatballs made bro salivating already!

This spunky 'lamp' from IKEA would be lovely to decorate the living room this Christmas.
